Enamelled Wire
Enamelled wire is an electrical component that is coated with a varnish (enamel) on the surface of the conductive wire, giving it the ability to withstand high voltage, as well as resistance to moisture, aggressive chemicals, and high temperatures. Electrolytic copper is typically used as the conductive material.
